Since the original stories were broken up in the reprints, they needed a recap page in the front of each comic to let readers know what had happened in the last issue. Artist Jeff Aclin, known for his ability to mimic the art styles of other artists, was asked to do this. Jeff copied the art styles of Don Heck, John Buscema and Sal Buscema, among others. Jeff was then given photo copies for reference and the finished page retains the credits of the original writers and artists. This is one of those pages and the content is from a story in Daredevil #103 (1973)! ON THIS PAGE: Ramrod escapes and Daredevil Black Widow and Spider-Man go after him! See color scan of published cover and published Daredevil #103 cover and page for more.
The art on this page was penciled by Jeff Aclin and inked by Mike Esposito! PLEASE NOTE: This is an original, hand drawn piece of published Spider-Man, Daredevil, Black Widow, Ramrod art, not a print, copy or facsimile!CONDITION NOTE: Black borders around top panels achieved using black masking tape. No other issues with this art. This 11 X 17 inch page of art on bristol board is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to any Spider-Man, Daredevil, Black Widow, Ramrod, Mike Wieringo or Terry Austin collection! It could also make a GREAT GIFT! These charges are the buyers responsibility. And, check out my other auctions for great original comic book art!
