For your consideration the story page in part 3 of 3, page 2 in Spectacular Spider-Man #223 (the second story in the comic book) with the original art penciled by the legendary JOHN ROMITA JR. This page was published in 1994 and is now over 25 years old! This piece is from my private collection and has been well taken care of and was professionally framed, with museum glass. If you like the way this piece looks in the pics youll LOVE how it presents in-person! This is a reflective piece that appears in the second story of the issue, and is set 5 years earlier before peters clone takes the name ben reilly (ben for his uncle ben and reilly as it is aunt mays maiden name). The then nameless peter parker clone goes through an existential crisis on a bus that is about to crash - the burden of being peter parker and the responsibility of being a good person is forcing him to act to save the bus when the clone just wants no responsibility. The clone decides finally to act but the bus driver miraculously avoids a crash before the clone has to act. It is beautifully penciled and written and is a very rare piece because of its introspective content. This original comic book art would make an excellent addition to any Marvel or Amazing Spider-Man comic book art collection! I would like to see this art find a home with another collector as I have no more room on my wall and it just sits, needing a home.
